The regions where you can book a lama or alpaca trekking are: the Plan de Corones (German: Kronplatz), Val Venosta (German: Vinschgau, Ladin Val Venuesta) and Renon (German: Ritten). Don’t worry: lamas don’t spit, unless they are provoked.

• Ponies in Valle Aurina: Children can ride ponies in Valle Aurina, in a ranch in the surroundings of Luttago (German: Lüttach). Here children don’t just learn horse-riding, but can also ride on ponies and take part into carriage and coaches trips like in the West!
